So I don’t remember when I first heard the term “bacne.” It means acne on ones back. I have backne. Actually I have “bodyne” (i.e. acne on my whole body) but that’s not the point. When it comes to cream for bacne, its not as simple or as cut and dry as when I am treating my face. I have to be careful that it’s not a cream that will bleach my shirt and it’s best to find a time to apply it when it isn’t likely to rub off as quickly. Also, this is not an area to go with “cheap” creams. I don’t get little tiny zits on my back that clear up easy, I get the hard to treat acne on my back, so it vitally important that I go with the BEST cream. Currently I use Benza-Clin. It doesn’t bleach my cloths and its very strong, prescription strength actually. My nurse practitioner prescribed it.
But here’s something I wonder about: What about the olden days. I tend to get a view of every individual having perfect skin in the olden days because that’s how they appear in the movies. But is that accurate, probably not. They certainly didn’t have great creams back then. But they also didn’t have food that were so high in fat and the air quality was better. So my guess is that acne was not as large of a problem.
